搶救歷史

昨午，在學校聽一位教育學系博士講述她研究的淪陷時期香港教育口述歷史，45分鐘，一下子就過去。她說得精彩，我也聽得著迷。我必須用著迷這兩個字，因為我真的著迷了。

博士說，他們在搶救歷史...這是他們的生命史...

黃昏本就約了幾位退休好一段時間的老人家，聽聽他們親口講述73年的一次騷亂事件，短短幾個小時，他們對講述以往的故事是多麼熱切，記憶的片段是多麼豐富，對過去是多麼眷戀...

這是收獲豐富的一天。

撮 要

本口述歷史項目以個人教育經歷為主線，訪談了27名三年零八個月期間在港任教或讀書的受訪者, 他們的口述歷史是戰時香港教育和社會實況的珍貴見証。此外， 有關的口述歷史更填補了戰時香港教育史的空白。

The oral history project interviewed 27 informants which helped to discover the hidden memories of the educational experience of Hong Kong people during the Japanese Occupation period from 1941-45. The interviewees recounted not only the educational experiences but also their daily life, working experience and other memories which helped to fill the missing parts of Hong Kong history during the war years.
